Saved $40 bucks off my Rogers Bill

Okay so here is a little trick I have learned about Rogers. With all the new competition out there they are more concern about just keeping the number of customers and not the revenues as much. I called them this week to end my HD extra package cause my Sens were out of the playoffs at the same time I asked them about another channel to add. Now the channel was LS times. On there website there was no mention of needed to have Fairchild added in order to be able to order this channel and on the Rogers note they don't mention it as well until you try to order it. Told them since there was no mention of it that I would of like to add that channel but not add Fairchild. So the rep stated that if they could do something where I get the channel and not have to pay extra for the Fairchild channel would I be interested so I said yes. In the end I found out there are some interesting promotions going on that only if you call you can get. they are not posted right now but are only avaliable if asked.

First you can get a 20% discount now for a year on their cable service even after you had the service for a while. The same goes for Cable. Also they have begun to waive the System access fee on the home phone on a case by case basis if you complain to them and have wireless with them as well.

It has been a while

Okay I did take a bit of time off from posting blogs. Really had alot to do at work and think about. Also my work on the Baneblade has stalled. Oh well that is life and you have to make due with things. I have started back doing Ebay and looking at ways still to get extra income. Man owning your first home there are alot of bills to pay and things to do.

Okay my wife's massage chair is in

So my wife and I finally got the massage chair we have been looking at for a long time. The best thing about it was it was almost $500 cheaper than buying it in Sears and the Bay. It also included the foot massagers. Were we bought it at T&T supermarket. They had a Kiosk there that specialized in massage chairs and similar items. What they did was go with their own branded names but they were the same models at other brand name ones. I will have pics up later on. Haven't tried it yet but will be doing it after this blog and watching the women"s figure skating.

Well living in Ottawa you usually have to live in a house where you can almost see right into your neighbour that lives behind you. With some developments you do get lucky and find one of the few houses built without another house directly behind you. Right now this is still a new area built in the last two years and many people only moved in during 2009. Likely it will be a different view next year but not having to wake up and look out into another house is something that makes living in this area great.
