It was the wifey's birthday today so her choice for dinner. Tonight was all you can sushi and japanese food. We went to the the 1000's Island Sushi place in Barrhaven. Not a bad place and very clean and spaceous. This was my first time going to a AYCE place in a couple of months. The last time was at Sushi Kan on Merivale. The one big difference was 1000's Island still had white tuna on the menu while sushi kan changed to a butter fish for their white fish option. Have to admit I am not a fan of the butter fish the texture is just not the same along with the taste.
A nice feature at the restaurant was cable tv and was able to see part of the
Canada and Germany hockey game. Overall a good experience and really good beef veal ribs.
