Okay so after watching the latest Harry Potter movie (Half Blooded Prince) I really felt a bit lost in the direction of the movie. I know that alot of stuff was left out on purpose so I thought it maybe worth wild to read the books now. After watching all the movies first I get a idea of the whole story but I know there are somethings that would of made more sense if they left in. So right now I have 6 of the 7 books. A great place to go to buy cheap books is places like the Salvation Army or St Vincent de Paul. They get their inventory by donations and generally have a good supply of books.
True it is a hit and miss but sometimes you get lucky. So far I have read the first book in the series and comparing it to what I remember from the movie it was pretty close. Still the book was only about 300 pages long so they could keep alot of it in the movie. Interesting that during the challenges at the end of the movie after the Chess match there was still two more trials but they left them out of the movie. Would of been interesting to add the Snape potion one but guess that the speed would of been an issue. Either way, I will continue to read the books. Right now I am starting on the 2nd volume.
